A lion lived in a forest and frightened all the animals. Every day, he hunted animals for food.

One day, it was a little rabbit's turn to visit the lion. The clever rabbit arrived late. The angry lion asked why he was late.
একদিন একটি ছোট খরগোশের সিংহের কাছে যাওয়ার পালা ছিল। বুদ্ধিমান খরগোশটি দেরি করে সেখানে পৌঁছাল। রাগী সিংহ জিজ্ঞেস করল, সে কেন দেরি করেছে।
The rabbit said, “Another lion stopped me on the way.” He took the lion to a deep well and said, “He is hiding inside.” The lion looked into the water and saw his own reflection. He thought it was another lion and jumped into the well. The animals were safe.
খরগোশ বলল, “পথে আরেকটি সিংহ আমাকে আটকে দিয়েছিল।” সে সিংহটিকে একটি গভীর কুয়োর কাছে নিয়ে গিয়ে বলল, “সে এর ভেতরে লুকিয়ে আছে।” সিংহটি পানিতে নিজের ছায়া দেখে ভাবল, সত্যিই আরেকটি সিংহ আছে। সে কুয়োর মধ্যে ঝাঁপ দিল। এরপর সব প্রাণী নিরাপদে থাকতে পারল।
