Outside, Amma called, "The road is flooded!" Rafi saw neighbour Asha and her baby at the gate. Asha looked worried.
বাইরে আম্মু বললেন, "রাস্তা পানিতে ভরে গেছে!" রাফি দেখল প্রতিবেশী আশা ও তার বাচ্চা গেটের কাছে। আশা চিন্তিত দেখাচ্ছিলেন।

Rafi picked up his small lantern. He said, "I will help." Amma gave him a warm scarf. Rafi felt a little brave.
রাফি তার ছোট লণ্ঠনটি তুলে নিল। সে বলল, "আমি সাহায্য করব।" আম্মু তাকে একটা উষ্ণ স্কার্ফ দিলেন। রাফি একটু সাহস পেল।

Rafi, Amma and Asha walked slowly on the flooded path together. Rafi's lantern showed the safe stones. Asha followed with her baby on her back.
রাফি, আম্মু এবং আশা মিলে পানিতে ভরা পথে ধীরে হাঁটল। রাফির লণ্ঠনটা নিরাপদ পাথরগুলো দেখাল। আশা তার বাচ্চা পিঠে নিয়ে পিছনে হাঁটল।

They reached Rafi's house. Amma brought hot tea and dry clothes. Everyone smiled and thanked Rafi.
তারা রাফির ঘরে পৌঁছাল। আম্মু গরম চা আর শুকনো কাপড় এনে দিলেন। সবাই হাসল এবং রাফিকে ধন্যবাদ দিল।
